FAQs

  • Divorce coaching is for anyone ready to shift their focus from loss to growth. In divorce, having a coach who can steer you away from thoughts of loss, fear, anger, and shame and on to what really matters in the present moment, is game changing.

  • If you are divorcing, chances are you are hijacked by negative thoughts and emotions. You might feel like a victim. You might feel angry or ashamed. Or, you might be avoiding your feelings altogether. A coach can help you free yourself from thoughts and feelings that don’t serve you, so that you can get present, make good choices, and write your new story.

  • Coaching works through a safe and strategic alliance of coach and client. The client sets the agenda and does the work. Over a series of conversations, the coach listens, questions, and affirms. As the client gets clear on goals and life purpose, the coach holds the client accountable for next steps.

  • We go to the gym because we know what challenges us physically is good for our bodies. Your divorce coach will put you through a different workout, one that challenges you to acknowledge the thoughts and feelings in your mind that keep you stuck and small in life. Letting go of those thoughts and feelings is not always easy and a coach can help support you in that process. The new story starts when you let go of the old one.

  • Coaching starts with a 15-minute conversation over the phone free of charge. At the end of the call, if the coach and client feel a coaching alliance can be formed, the coach will offer a 6-week program.

  • The charge for the 6-week program of coaching ranges from $750 to $1200. See our packages for more information.

  • Sessions are conducted by phone and zoom. Emails between sessions are used for feedback and accountability.
